Description

You might see the following message in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software versions 21.1 and later when upgrading a previously generated External Memory Interfaces Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA IP instance that has a Chip ID width that is > 0 (3DS).

Info(20325): ASSERTION ERROR: HMC param HMC_3DS_REF2REF_DLR is out of range (0, 127): current value is <value>

This message appears because the user entered a tRFC_DLC value in the IP that is illegal.

Resolution

To avoid this error message, enter a legal tRFC_DLR value in External Memory Interfaces Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA IP.
