ID:20105 Attempting to place "pin_name" with IO standard "SSTL-12" and termination "60 Ohms" in a 3V IO bank which does not support termination

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.3 and earlier for the Cyclone® 10 FPGA GX devices, you might see this error message if you assign I/O Standard SSTL-12 without class to the pins located in the 3V IO bank.

The fitter automatically assigns Rs OCT 60 Ohm with calibration to the SSTL-12 I/O standard, which is not supported in the 3V I/O bank.

Resolution

To work around this problem, assign the Rs OCT without calibration to the specific pins.

This problem has been fixed in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.
