How do I undock and dock the Messages window in the Quartus II software?

Description

In the Quartus II® software, to undock the Messages window, follow these steps:

1. Right-click in the Messages window white space area, or in the upper border of this window.
2. Turn off Enable Docking. 

To redock the Messages window, follow these steps:

1. Right-click in the white area of the Messages window to get the Context menu. 
• Right clicking in the upper border of the undocked Messages window does not show all the options for managing the window. 
2. In the Context menu, select Enable Docking. 
3. Drag the Messages window close to the bottom of the Quartus II GUI, so the dock window border appears. 
• While the Messages window is selected and moving around the lower left or left area of the Quartus II software it shows different potential positions that are available. 
4. When the outline border is in the position you want, drop the Messages window and it is docked accordingly. 
• To get the messages window to appear across the entire bottom of the Quartus II GUI (default), drag the undocked Messages window to the middle of the bottom and drop.
