How do I improve timing when I process an Engineering Change Order (ECO)?

Description

To improve timing when processing an ECO, ensure that you turn on the Optimize Timing for ECOs option (Settings > Fitter Settings > More Settings).

You will get the following message during ECO compilation when this setting is set to OFF:

Warning: Timing-driven compilation is disabled - timing performance will not be optimized
