How do I extend the bus read and write timeout of System Console to be longer than 60 seconds?

Description

System Console has a fixed timeout of 60 seconds for master_read and master_write transactions.  It is not possible to modify this setting in versions of Quartus® II up to, and including Quartus II 11.0 Service Pack 1.

In Quartus II 11.1 and later versions, it is possible to disable this timeout by launching system-console from a Nios®  II Command Shell, and using the -disable_timeout option.
