How do I enable serial loopback in Serial RapidIO IP core?

Description

In the Quartus® II software version 13.1 and earlier, the Serial RapidIO® IP core does not have a register or a port in top level module that enables serial loopback.

Resolution

To enable serial loopback, modify the av_xcvr_custom_nr module in the Serial RapidIO IP core and set the rx_seriallpbken port of av_xcvr_custom_native high. When the rx_seriallpbken is high, serial loopback is enabled.
