How can I print a schematic on 11"x17" paper?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software on Windows operating systems, Block Diagram Files (.bdf) may not fit a full schematic when printing on a single sheet of 11"x17" paper.

Resolution

To work around this problem, follow the directions below.

1. In the Quartus II software, open the .bdf.
2. On the File menu, click Page Setup. Change the Size to 11x17. Edit the orientation and margins as needed.
3. Close the .bdf.
4. Reopen the .bdf.
5. On the File menu, click Print...
6. To print as an XML Paper Specification (.xps) format, choose Microsoft XPS Dcoument Writer in the list of printers. You can also print as a PDF if you have the option.
7. Open the .xps in XPS Viewer or the PDF in Adobe Reader.
8. Print to your printer.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
