HDMI TX Interoperability Issue with Panasonic TV at HDMI 2.0 Data Rates

Description

When you use the HDMI TX core to transmit HDMI 2.0 data rates (such as 4K60), you may not observe the video display on certain Panasonic TVs (for example, model TH-49CX700K).

This problem is caused by the scrambling issue on the data island guardband.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this issue.

This issue is fixed in version 15.1 Update 1 of the HDMI IP core.
