HDMI 2.0 Design Does Not Work for Data Rates Below 600 Mbps
Description
When you run the Stratix V design for HDMI version 2.0 (<IP root directory>/altera/altera_hdmi/hw_demo/sv_hdmi2), the design will not work for resolutions running at data rates below 600 megabits per second (Mbps). This issue is caused by a bug in the mr_rx_oversample block in the design that stops the HDMI RX core from locking resolutions that require oversampling. This issue only affects the HDMI 2.0 design for Stratix V devices.
Resolution
There is no workaround for this issue.
This issue is fixed in version 15.0 Update 2 of the HDMI IP core.
