Have Intel® Enpirion® devices been deprecated in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1?

Yes, starting in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1, Intel® Enpirion® devices have been deprecated.

You may see the following pop-up message when selecting an Intel Enpirion device as a PMBus Slave device type :
•    This Enpirion device is being Deprecated. For more information, go to this KDB Article

Resolution

To avoid this message, set the PMBus Slave device type to Other.

To do this in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software, Click on Assignments > Device … > Device and Pin Options … > Power Management & VID > Slave device type > Other.

Then specify the other parameters accordingly.
