Generate Example Design button does not work when IP Core is launched from IP Catalog

Description

When using the Low Latency Ethernet 10G MAC or the Triple-Speed Ethernet MAC, the Generate Example Design will not work if the IP was launched using the IP Catalog flow.

The following error message may appear: The example design cannot be generated when there are errors.

Resolution

To work around this problem, launch the IP using the Qsys IP flow.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime software.
