Fitter failed to read .mif file: db/reconfig_map_0.mif

Description

When using Stratix® V, Arria® V, and Cyclone® V transceiver devices, you may encounter the above error during the Quartus® II software fitter stage if you are using a .qxp file that contains a transceiver PHY and Reconfiguration Controller IP.

Resolution

To fix this problem, copy the reconfig_map_0.mif file from the Reconfiguration Controller IP <variant_name> folder in your design directory to the db folder of your project.
