Error:Error in CNX file format. Can't create the custom megafunction variation file(s)

Description

Due to a problem in the 32-bit Quartus® II software version 11.0 and later for Linux, you may see this error message when opening following megafunctions in the MegaWizard™ Plug-In Manager:

• ALTDDIO_IN
• ALTDDIO_OUT
• ALTDDIO_BIDIR
• ALTDLL
• ALTLVDS_RX
• ALTLVDS_TX
• ALTDQ
• ALTSHIFT_REG

Resolution

There are no plans to fix this issue. To work around this problem, use the 64-bit Quartus II software for Linux if available or the Quartus II software for Windows.
