Error(16045): Instance "" instantiates undefined entity "<entity name>"

Description

When you migrate from the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software to the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software and you upgrade your IP components, you may get this error error message.

Resolution

To work around this error, manually remove the .qip files from the .qsf file.
