Error(12418): Termination logic option is set to Series 50 Ohm without Calibration for output pin <pin name>~pad, but setting is not supported by I/O standard 3.0-V LVCMOS

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1, this error may occur when 3VIO and HPS IP are used simultaneously for designs targeting Intel® Stratix10® devices because "OUTPUT_TERMINATION OFF" assignment is missed to be enabled.

 

Resolution

To work around this problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1,  add the .qsf assignment "set_instance_assinment -name OUTPUT_TERMINATION OFF -to <pin>" for failed pins.

This problem has been fixed in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2.
