Error: Verification failed on device number 1

Description
You may be receiving an "Error: Verification failed for device number 1" when trying to program a volatile encryption key (.ekp) file if you have the VCCBAT pin tied to GND. This pin needs to be tied to the recommended VCCBAT voltage for proper operation.
