Error: The system must be saved before generating

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 13.0, you may encounter this error while attempting to generate a Qys system even if you already tried to save the Qsys system. This error can occur if the system was created using a previous version of the Quartus II software and contains the Altera® Avalon® Data Pattern Generator.

Resolution

To work aournd the problem in the Quartus II software version 13.0, generate the system using the command qsys-generate from the command line.

This problem has been fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 13.0 SP1.
