Error: The specified SignalProbe pin name is reserved for another location

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 11.1 SP2 and earlier, you may see this error message when you assign SignalProbe to a SignalProbe-reserved pin in the SignalProbe Pins dialog box.

Resolution

To work around this problem, assign the SignalProbe to an unused pin.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 12.0.
