Error: no such variable (read trace on "::env(IP_ROOTDIR)")

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.1, you might receive the following error message when generating the eSRAM Intel® FPGA IP core.

Error: no such variable (read trace on "::env(IP_ROOTDIR)")

Resolution

To work around this problem, ensure the Windows* environment variable "IP_ROOTDIR" to "%QUARTUS_ROOTDIR%\..\ip\" is set.

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro/Standard Edition Software version 19.2
