Error Message: PMBUS error has occurred during reconfiguration

Description

You might see this error in Intel® Stratix® 10 VID devices due to failure in detecting VOUT_COMMAND within 200 ms after PWRMGT_ALERT asserted. This is caused by communication error between Intel® Stratix® 10 device and external voltage regulator. nCONFIG toggle will not be able to recover for next configuration and the reconfiguration will fail.

Resolution

To work around this problem, power cycle the device.
