Error Message: error while loading shared libraries: libsys_qui.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Description

After installing Intel® Quartus® Programmer in Linux, you will face an issue in launching the Programmer due to the tools running from the "<installation path>/qprorammer/linux64" folder.

Error Message: <installation path>/intelFPGA_pro/<quartus version>/qprogrammer/linux64/quartus_pgmw: error while loading shared libraries: libsys_qui.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" will be observed

Resolution

You will need to launch the Programmer from the "<installation path>/qprogrammer/bin" folder. You can directly launch it with "<installation path>/qprogrammer/bin/quartus_pgmw"

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 19.3.
