Error: Family Cyclone 10 GX is not installed

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1, you might see this error message when you create or edit a custom component in the Platform Designer and analyze the hdl files. 

Resolution

To work around this problem, install the Cyclone® 10 device family to the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.

This problem is fixed starting with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1.1.
