Error: Failed to process ECO Tcl Script File

Description

You might see this error in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software when using ECO commands in designs targeting Agilex™ 5 devices. 

 

Error: Failed to process ECO Tcl Script File

ECO: Failed to process the ECO command at line n of the TCL script

 

This error occurs because incremental update is not supported.

 

Resolution

To avoid this error, add the command "eco disable_idat" to the ECO tcl script.
