Error: couldn’t read file “./../common/./.././sim/common/*.tcl”: no such file or directory

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3 and earlier, you might see this error when using relative paths while generating a Simulator Setup Script for IP. The problem occurs when relative path usage and the inclusion of an IP subsystem are combined.

 

Resolution

To work around this problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3 and earlier, do not use relative paths during the generation of Simulator Setup Script for IP.
