Error: A service installation section in the INF is invalid (Cyclone II PCI development kit)

Description

You may see this error message after installing the Cyclone® II PCI development kit and software.

To solve the problem, download and install the Cyclone_II_PCI_patch.

To install the patch, follow these steps:

1. Ensure you installed the Cyclone II PCI development kit CD driver in the default location, C:\altera\kits\CycloneII_PCI_Kit-v6.0.1\Drivers.
2. Unzip the patch file CycloneII_PCI_patch.zip.
3. Run PCI_Patch.bat.
4. Reboot the machine.
