Error (10482): VHDL error at alt_sld_fab_sldfabric.vhd(214): object "to_std_logic_vector" is used but not declared

Description

You may see this error because the software saves the /megafunctions folder next to the project files, and archives an old incompatible sld_hub.vhd. The IP cores in the /megafunctions folder take priority over the newer valid files in quartus/libraries/megafunctions . This problem affects the Quartus II software v14.1 when you upgrade a project from v14.0.

Resolution

To work around this problem, delete the folder <project_dir>/megafunctions.. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
