Error: <instance name>: Parameter "protocol_mode" (Transceiver configuration rules) must be consistent for all reconfiguration profiles. Current value:pma_direct; Profile1 value:pma_direct_gb_64_66

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2 and earlier, the error above will occur when trying to add the following two profiles in the Dynamic Reconfiguration tab of the Stratix® 10 E-Tile Transceiver Native PHY IP.

- PMA Direct mode

- Gearbox 64/66 mode

 

 

Resolution

There is currently no plan to fix this problem.
