Error: "_hw.tcl: OUT_OF_CONTEXT_SYNTHESIS_ENABLED not allowed for EModuleProperty, must be in {[DESCRIPTION, ..."

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2, you might see this error when opening a Platform Designer system whose hw.tcl file includes this line.

 

set_module_property OUT_OF_CONTEXT_SYNTHESIS_ENABLED false

Resolution

To work around this problem, delete the line "set_module_property OUT_OF_CONTEXT_SYNTHESIS_ENABLED false" from your _hw.tcl file. 

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software release.
