Error: ./../../src/auk_dspip_ctc_lib_pkg.vhd(1): near "": illegal character found in source

Description

Due to a problem with the Cyclone® V Turbo Decoder IP core in Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software for Windows version 16.0 and later, you may see the above error when simulating the example design generated by the IP core. 

Resolution

To work around this Windows problem, use an example design generated by Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 17.0 for Linux.

This problem will be fixed in a future version of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software
