Does the Quartus II search_path assignment support the use of the -library argument?

Description

There is currently no support for using the search_path assignment to compile hdl files into a specific library.

Resolution

If you need to compile an hdl file into a specific library you are required to add the file as a Quartus® II project file rather than specifying the location of the file using the search_path assignment.

Support for this feature will be evaluated for a future release of the Quartus II software.
