Decode() Failed; Error 75; Path/File access error;

Description

You may see this error when trying to modify cells in the Early Power Estimator (EPE) tools.  This error can occur from one of the following reasons:

• You need to have write permissions to the TMP or TEMP directory defined by the environment variables in your profile.
• Some McAfee virus scanners can be configured to explicitly block Excel spreadsheets from writing out files. If this is the case on your system, there should be a log entry in the virus scanner indicating it has blocked Excel from writing files.

If you are unable to resolve either of these potential problems on your system, file a service request in mySupport describing the issue, and reference this solution ID number.
