Cyclone V Support Not Available for the XAUI PHY In 12.1

Description

The XAUI PHY IP Core chapter of the Altera Transceiver PHY IP Core User Guide states that preliminary support is available for Cyclone V devices in the 12.1 release of the Quartus II software. However, the XAUI PHY IP core does not support Cyclone V devices in the 12.1 release.

Resolution

XAUI PHY IP core supports Cyclone V devices in version 13.0 of the Quartus II software.
