Critical Warning(23655): There are 0 M20K_CE_CONTROL_FOR_PR assignments on input ports of partition "partition_name".

Description

You might see this critical warning while compiling a Partial Reconfiguration design in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2 which has been migrated from an earlier version of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software. The warning occurs when the M20K_CE_CONTROL_FOR_PR assignment is set to ON. This feature has been deprecated in version 23.2

 

Resolution

To avoid this critical warning, either delete the M20K_CE_CONTROL_FOR_PR  assignment from the *_assignment_default.qdf and .qsf or explicitly set the M20K_CE_CONTROL_FOR_PR assignment to OFF.
