Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime software version 16.0 Update 2 and early, you may see this critical warning when compiling your Arria® 10 design containing an EMIF IP.

Resolution

It is safe to ignore this critical warning.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of Quartus Prime software.
