Critical Warning (19927): Parameter is set with a 'set_parameter' command in the QSF but does not exist in the entity definition

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 18.0, you may see this Critical Warning when you use set_parameter for a variable from the top-level of the design. You can ignore this Critical Warning because the variable is set correctly.

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 18.1.
