Can I use the hard processor system (HPS) flash programmer to program a Raw Binary File (.rbf)?

Description

The HPS flash programmer supports only the Binary File (.bin) type and not .rbf extension.

Resolution

Change the file extension from .rbf to .bin when you use the HPS flash programmer to program your programming file in .rbf format.

This problem has been fixed in the Quartus® II software version 14.0 and onwards.
