Can I disable the SmartVID feature on Intel® Stratix® 10 devices with SmartVID power option?

Description

No, you are not able to disable the SmartVID feature on Intel® Stratix® 10 devices with tha SmartVID (-V) power option.

However, due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software release version 17.1, under Settings -> Operating Settings and Conditions there is an option to disable the SmartVID feature. However, this option can be neglected as it will not physically disable the SmartVID feature on the devices.

Resolution

Use the latest version of the  Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software.
