Arria 10 SDI II Reconfiguration Design Example Generated in Quartus Prime v16.0 is Not Compatible with Older ES Devices

Description

The Arria 10 SDI II reconfiguration design example (sdi_ii_ed_reconfig_a10), generated in version 16.0 of the Quartus Prime, is not compatible with older ES devices. You will have problems using the design example with the older ES devices.

This issue causes the SDI II RX core not to lock.

Resolution

To work around this issue, use the generated sdi_ii_ed_reconfig_a10 file from version 15.1 Update 2 of the SDI II IP core.

This issue is fixed in version 16.0 Update 2 of of the SDI II IP core.
