Yes, you might see problems when launching the Auto Sweep and/or Eye Viewer feature from the Receiver link tab of the Transceiver Toolkit on Stratix® V GX devices. Attempting to launch these functions from the Receiver link tab might result in a 'null' error returned and the feature never starting.

Resolution

To reliably run the Auto Sweep and/or Eye Viewer function, you should launch these features from the Transceiver Link tab.

This problem will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus® II software.
