Are there any known issues with the Stratix V Early Power Estimator (EPE) tool, related to the reporting of ICCHSSI?

Description

Yes, in the Stratix® V EPE version 12.0sp1 and earlier, if the EPE only contains transceiver instances with a data rate greater than 6.5Gbps, the ICCHSSI static power value will incorrectly be reported as being zero.

Resolution

Add a transceiver instance with a data rate less than or equal to 6.5Gbps, in the EPE. The static ICCHSSI value will then correctly be reported with a non-zero value.

 

This issue will be fixed in a future version of the EPE.
