Altera HDMI TX Core Encodes 1080i50 Packet Incorrectly
Description
The Altera HDMI TX core may encode the 1080i50 packet incorrectly. The issue occurs when the source Window of Opportunity (WOP) generator creates the 32-symbol with the boundary close to the 18 data island packets restriction.
Some of the HDMI sinks may not able to decode the video correctly. CTS testing also may fail for 1080i50 resolution.
Resolution
There is no workaround for this issue.
This issue is fixed in version 16.0 of the HDMI IP core.
