AHDL is not supported for the MAX V OSCILLATOR, ALTUFM_I2C, ALTUFM_NONE, ALTUFM_PARALLEL, or ALT_UFM_SPI megafunctions

Description

In the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager, AHDL is not supported for the MAX V OSCILLATOR, ALTUFM_I2C, ALTUFM_NONE, ALTUFM_PARALLEL, or ALT_UFM_SPI megafunctions.Attempting to synthesize one of these AHDL megafunctions in the Quartus II software fails with an error similar to the following:

Error: Can't open AHDL Include File maxv_ufm.inc.

Resolution

Use VHDL or Verilog HDL.
