“singleResetMode” parameter making no effect to the Avalon FIFO Memory component

Description

In the Quartus® II software version 14.0, the setting of “singleResetMode” parameter will make no effect to the Avalon FIFO Memory component.

This is due to the _hw.tcl of this component has no assignment which is using this parameter. The generated RTL seem to be identical between these two configurations - with and without the parameter “singleResetMode” being set.

Resolution

The “singleResetMode” parameter is scheduled to be hidern in the Avalon FIFO Memory component in a future release of the Quartus® II software.
